Anyone who started looking deeper at their life has always been drawn towards Yoga and Meditation. In the recent decades, Yoga and Meditation became the widely accepted ways to understand ones body, mind, and live a balanced life.
Contrary to popular belief, Yoga is not just about the postures (asanas) one does as part of their Yoga practice. It is a way of life with a deep purpose to align ones body, mind, and energies in a way that creates a healthy and balanced life. There are many forms of Yoga that are being practiced around the world, each with a specific purpose. Hatha Yoga, that Sam (our Coach) teaches is a form of Yoga practice that involves breathing, asanas/postures, balance of energies and thoughts. A Yoga practise would be most effective, when one does it with clear understanding of the principles that drive our thoughts, our emotions, our behaviour, and our physical health. All our Yoga sessions include in them the philosophy and principles of various aspects of Yoga.
Meditation is understood differently in different circles of practitioners around the world. The english word “Meditation” doesn’t do complete justice to the actual intent with which the practices around meditation were discovered/developed. Depending on one’s purpose of doing meditation – it can be about deep observation, concentration, creativity, involvement, emptiness, mindfulness, manifestation, Being, transcend ones understanding of the self, or about various other areas that meditation practice can help. Meditation would be most effective when the purpose of the practice is clear and an appropriate meditation practice is chosen to achieve that purpose.
